About Airguns Reviewed
Airguns Reviewed reviews BB guns, air rifles, pellet pistols, PCP air rifles, pellets, BBs, CO2 and airgun optics, starting from one question: what is the airgun for? A first BB gun, backyard plinking, garden pests and small game each call for a different gun at a different power level.
How we work
Our guides are researched from published sources: manufacturers’ specifications and manuals, state statutes and wildlife agencies, federal agencies, safety organizations and peer-reviewed research. Every figure and legal point on a page is tied to a source in that page’s Sources list or to the manufacturer’s own listing. We do not run a test lab and we do not test products ourselves; velocities, energies and shot counts are quoted as the manufacturer states them.
We put safety first. Adults should supervise young shooters, and everyone in range should wear eye protection.
Laws vary
Airgun laws differ by state, county and city, and some places treat airguns as firearms. We never say an airgun is legal where you live; check your local law before buying or shooting.
What we do not do
We do not sell or link to firearms or firearm ammunition.
Keeping it current
Laws, product lineups and prices change. Pages carry the date their facts were checked. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected].
